Terms of use

1. Purpose

Wealth Smart Way (WSW) is a personal tool for tracking and projecting wealth. It lets the user manually enter their assets (cash, stocks, cryptocurrencies, real estate, private equity, precious metals) and view their breakdown, evolution and projections.

2. What WSW is not

WSW is in no way investment advice, a personalised recommendation or a regulated wealth management service. It does not execute any trading order, does not hold, transfer or manage any funds on behalf of the user, and does not connect to any bank or financial institution: every piece of data displayed is data the user entered themselves.

Estimates (value of a property, wealth projections, coverage rate in “Financial Freedom”) rely on assumptions and on public or market data. They are provided for information only and guarantee no result.

3. Creating an account

Using WSW requires creating an account with a valid e-mail address. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential, for safeguarding your recovery key and for the accuracy of the information you enter. As your data is end-to-end encrypted, losing both your password and your recovery key makes it unrecoverable.

4. Availability and accuracy

WSW is provided “as is”. Benasero LLC guarantees neither the continuous availability of the service nor the accuracy of the prices, estimates or projections displayed, which partly depend on third-party data providers. Any financial decision made on the basis of the information displayed is your sole responsibility.

5. Intellectual property

The application, its code, its design and its brand are the property of Benasero LLC. The data you enter belongs to you: you can export or delete it at any time.

6. Suspension and deletion of an account

You can delete your account at any time from the application. Benasero LLC reserves the right to suspend an account in case of fraudulent use or use contrary to these terms.

7. Plans and Premium subscription

WSW offers a free plan, with no time limit, that gives access to Net worth, Cash, Budget and Goals, and a Premium plan that gives access to all modules, live prices and estimates, and projections.

Each account can benefit from a free 7-day trial of the Premium plan, without a bank card. At the end of the trial nothing is charged: without a subscription, the account stays on the free plan.

The Premium subscription is monthly or yearly. It renews automatically at each renewal date, at the price in force when you subscribed, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from the account settings: it then stays active until the end of the period already paid, with no further charge. Any price change is announced before the renewal concerned, and you can cancel before it applies.

The subscription is sold by Paddle, our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record: the sales contract is concluded with Paddle, under its buyer terms, and Paddle handles payment, invoicing, and the calculation and remittance of applicable taxes (including VAT). Benasero LLC has no access to your bank card details. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you benefit from the 14-day right of withdrawal provided by law, on the conditions set out at checkout. When a subscription ends without being renewed, the Premium modules are locked. Your data is kept, encrypted, and becomes usable again as soon as you subscribe again. You can export your data at any time.

8. Changes to the service and to the terms

WSW is a service under active development: its features may change. These terms may be modified; any substantial change will be brought to users’ attention.
